BUILD University

The goal of the BUILD university program is to develop a world-class technical workforce to lead the world in innovation through manufacturing. This four-year university program comprises experiential learning, collaborative and team-oriented environments, cross-discipline experience, and immersion in hands-on engineering. To minimize the impact of adoption by academic programs, BUILD courses replace four existing courses within current graduation requirements and ABET accreditation. One team-based hands-on experiential class is taken each year and led by industry mentors in coordination with traditional courses. The students design, build, test, refine, and manufacture projects that will thread into other courses throughout their academic career, improving the continuity of education.
