Sourcing

We would like to source all BUILD labs and projects with US-built equipment and components. Unfortunately, that is not practical at this time because many components simply aren’t yet made in the United States. SmarterEveryDay Youtuber Destin Wilson Sandlin tried to manufacture a product using exclusively US made materials and learned how hard this was. Additionally, we are under the same budget constraints as everyone else. We will, however, choose US sourcing whenever it is available and within our budget.

It is our sincere goal to source everything from US sources built by BUILD alumni within a decade.
